The weather is changing, the sun is out, people are outside riding bikes and going for walks and I love it. Spring is on the way, well technically it’s already here, but the days are getting warmer everyday. It’s time to fire up those grills people. Well those of us who aren’t able to grill all year because it’s negative 10 outside.
Anyway, what better way to start off Spring with this super simple quick and easy barbecue sauce. I love making barbecue sauces. It’s a lot easier then most people think. Really all there is to it is to mix a bunch of ingredients in a sauce pan and let it simmer so all the flavors can blend together and viola, you’ve just made barbecue sauce.
It really couldn’t be easier. This particular sauce doesn’t require any fancy ingredients and can absolutely be made for a weeknight dinner. This is great on burgers, ribs, chicken, anything really.
I love when the weather allows for the grill to be pulled out. My husband and I grill all the time. Well I shouldn’t say we, my husband does 99% of the grilling, but hey I get the food ready to go on the grill!
We put everything on the grill. Our entire meal is often cooked outside on the grill. We love grilled potato fries, well that’s what we call them. I’ll have to write a post about that later. My husband and I also love love love grilled green onions, or scallions, whatever you prefer to call them. Those are super yummy.
So now that were in grilling season I encourage you to try making your own barbecue sauce!
